Template:Infobox Biome The Grand Reef is currently the largest biome in Subnautica. It covers a considerable portion Southern and Southwestern corner of the map, and also is a very deep area, offering a wide range of diving possibilities to the players.

Around four types of fauna populate the Grand Reef, including edible ones such as Spadefishes, Airsacks and Hoopfishes.

The Grand Reef is also known for its unique types of flora, featuring the luminous Floating Stones along with the pecuiar Membrain Trees. They are found almost everywhere in the biome.

The most common harvesting node in the Grand Reef are Basalt Outcrops.

Trivia

  • While being considered as the largest biome, the Grand Reef's diversity in fauna and flora, however, is subpar in comparison with other biomes, like the Grassy Plateaus or the Kelp Forest.
