Fungal Sample

Obtained from	Coral Trees, Tree Leech
Biome/s	Caves, Grassy Plateaus, Mountain Range Caves, Mushroom Forest

The Fungal Sample is a raw material that can be obtained from the Coral Trees in Mushroom Forests. The in-game description states that the sample contains fungal enzymes.

The player can break off the Fungal Samples by hitting them with the survival knife (one stroke) or collide into them with the Seamoth or Cyclops, causing them to break and slowly drift to the ground.

Farming

One mushroom caps will yield from 2 to 14 Fungal Samples (depends on the size) and break off in 4 bits in one cut.
