Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Cute Fish is a Life Form that has not been implemented yet.

The Cute Fish will be available as pet for players who bought the Special Edition of Subnautica.[Citation needed]

In its current state, the Cute Fish appears to follow the player around, though its swimming animation is incomplete. Its model seems to be broken or glitched, as is it constantly pointing downwards. The concept art shows that the Cute Fish may swell up and explode either on contact or when threatened, like the Crash.

Early animations for the Cute Fish can be viewed here.

Appearance

The Cute Fish is dark brown on the top and white on its belly. The Cute Fish has a white stripe alongside its top.

It has five tentacles with the same pattern at the back. Three of them form a horizontal line at the rear top of the body, with the two remaining tentacles forming a horizontal line at the bottom rear.

The Cute Fish's eyes are black with a white rim around it. It has wrinkles around its eyes and neck. Its smiling mouth has teeth similar to that of a human's. It has two small stumps that serve as its snout.

The Cute Fish's skin is dotted and has several short lumps all over it. Two pectoral fins reside on either side of its torso.
