Blood Hoopfish are cathemeral and easy to catch, as they do not retreat from the player and are bioluminescent. Currently, they are not able to be cooked.

In the future it may spawn in the Lost River[1].

Appearance

The Blood Hoopfish is a small and slim fish that is slightly smaller than other common fish like Peepers and Airsacks. The Blood Hoopfish is a transparent grey-green color that is more opaque at its head and tail. It has two bright green eyes with red markings and a small fin on its back. Its body is transparent with light blue stripes and a grey cord running through the middle. The Blood Hoopfish's most distinct feature is a transparent grey hoop that extends from the top and bottom of its head and bends around its tail. Its red tail extends beyond the hoop.
