Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Bone Shark is a life form belonging to the fauna category.

The bone shark does not drop loot, even when killed.

A 3D model of the Bone Shark can be found here.

Appearance

The Bone Shark is a large predator with a large head and a long, segmented body. Its head features a large mouth full of small, razor-sharp teeth and two bioluminescent eyes with a cyanic hue. It navigates using two fins protruding to the sides of its body and two fins at the end of its tail. It features spikes extending backwards from the top left/right and bottom left/right of its head. It also appears to have a bone-like exoskeleton covering its entire body. It is of a light purple colour, with orange accents on its head and back.

Behavior

The Bone Shark is a hostile creature. Once it has spotted the player, it will follow them until it has damaged the player, their submarine (Seamoth), or until the player has outrun its charge. The damage done to the Seamoth is minor (3%). The Bone Shark can reach high speeds and will follow the player for a long time, making it more dangerous than the Stalker. It is also curious about lights, so it will be attracted to the Cyclops. Because of its curiosity with lights it can also be distracted using Flares.

Just like the Stalker, the Bone Shark can be observed doing aileron rolls.
