Appearance

The Blood Hoopfish is a small and slim fish that is slightly smaller than other common fish like Peepers and Airsacks. The Blood Hoopfish is a transparent grey color that becomes lighter towards the head while its head is white. It has two dim yellow eyes and a small fin on its back. Two red markings protrude from each eye. The Blood Hoopfish's most distinct feature is a transparent grey hoop that extends from the top and bottom of its head and bends around its tail. It has a small tail fin that extends beyond its hoop.
