The “Emperor” in “Sea Emperor Leviathan” refers to the species as a whole, not to the individual who is encountered in the game. At least, that’s how I’ve always interpreted it. |

Shouldn't the Sea Emperor Leviathan technically be called the Sea Empress Leviathan? I mean, it does speak to you in a female voice and produces eggs.
The “Emperor” in “Sea Emperor Leviathan” refers to the species as a whole, not to the individual who is encountered in the game. At least, that’s how I’ve always interpreted it.
