  • A partially-opened main door (300m SW of Delta Station Dock, depth 150m) that is wide enough for a player or Prawn Suit, but too narrow for a Seatruck
  • or via a crevice blocked by two magma vents. It consists of Main Shaft which leads to mine systems and another shaft that can only be accessed through a small gap in the northeastern corner of the hall containing the Main Shaft. The Secondary Shaft is filled with sand and doesn't lead to any cave system.

A Prawn Suit with a drill arm is recommended for optimal gains from the Mining Site, but cannot fit into the room with an Architect Artifact.

Description

The mining site is a mixture of natural, rocky cave systems and man-made shafts mined out by Alterra;

  • A large round entry room at 150m deep contains a Moonpool blueprint in a data box, Oxygen plant, and the top of the central shaft.
  • The base of the shaft at 250m depth that leads through thermal vents (Thermal Plant fragments) toward the first chamber.
  • The first chamber which has multiple Prawn Suit, Laser Cutter, and a Prawn Suit Jump Jet Upgrade in a terminal beside one of the work stations.
  • Down the tunnel to the left is a small chamber with an Architect Artifact.
  • The tunnel to the right leads to the second chamber (300m) containing more Prawn Suit and Prawn Suit Drill Arm, Data box with Headlamp as well as ore nodes for Diamond, Copper, Silver, Gold, and Titanium

The site is littered with technology left by the corporation, most notably Prawn Suits, Thermal Plant, and Laser Cutter. Rooms beyond the main shaft contain multiple Rock Punchers. Players should remain wary of Oxygen and Lava Geysers.
