The biome borders the Arctic Kelp Forest, Arctic Spires, Glacial Basin, and the West Arctic.

Above Water

The Glacial Bay's terrestrial section, as the name suggests, is a seaside landscape filled with vibrant plants. Alterra Corporation has a strong presence in this area, with various structures ranging from blizzard lines to radio towers having been set up. A noteworthy installation is the bridge, which is the only way to access the Arctic Spires upon arrival. The Glacial Bay has an entrance from a coastline attached to the northern ice border of the map.

A Jukebox Disk can be found on a Alterra site near the entrance to the Glacial Basin.

Geothermal Vents can be found throughout the Glacial Bay.

Underwater

The Glacial Bay's aquatic section is a large, mostly barren landscape supporting large Eye Jelly blooms. The ground has many small trenches. One of these trenches leads to the aquatic tunnel that grants entrance to the Arctic Spires. The Eastern part of the biome has one large iceberg, and small clusters of Creepvine. The biome also has small pockets of resources on the ground.
