Architect Artifacts is a collective term for notable pieces of architecture or technology left behind by The Architects.

Once Al-An has been transferred into Robin Ayou's mind, he will begin to give the player signals leading to Artifacts.

Reward Tiers

As more artifacts are scanned, the player will unlock Blueprints for Alterra-Architect hybrid technology and pings/hints to important Architect Bases. The blueprint unlocked depends on the amount of artifacts scanned, with the tiers being as follows:

(1/15) - Sanctuary Zero Location (After getting SOS)
(2/15) - Unlocks Quantum Locker
(3/15) - Deep Lilypads Cave Cache Location
(4/15) - Unlocks Recyclotron
(5/15) - Arctic Spires Cache Hint
(6/15) - Unlocks Ion Battery and Ion Power Cell
(9/15) - Crystal Caves Cache Hint
(10/15) - Unlocks Tether Tool and Seatruck Teleportation Module

There is no reward for scanning more than 10 artifacts.

Greenhouse	A greenhouse used to study plants.	Arctic Spires
Ground Sampler	A machine used for taking samples from the ground.	East Arctic (Artifact PK8) Tree Spires (Artifact N6M)
Marine Life Analyzer	A set of fish traps used for capturing fish.	Lilypads Crevice
Material Analysis Station	A small research outpost that was set up for unknown reasons.	Delta Island
Mineral Distillery	A machine used to distill minerals taken from the ground.	Thermal Spires Caves
Obelisk	A strange device of unknown purpose.	Arctic Kelp Caves Deep Twisty Bridges
Satellite	A damaged satellite that fell from orbit.	East Arctic
Water Analysis Station	A machine that analyzed the contents of surrounding water.	Arctic Kelp Caves (Artifact X3J) Purple Vents
