Repulsion Cannon: Difference between revisions

While the Repulsion Cannon cannot pick up items like the Propulsion Cannon can, it pushes objects away with much more force and for a longer distance than the Propulsion Cannon can. The Repulsion Cannon can be used to repel many fauna. It can even repel all aggressive leviathans if aimed at the creature's head, temporarily stunning them. Another use is to push debris in Wrecks to unblock passageways such as ventilation systems or doors. To craft the Repulsion Cannon, the player must either retrieve its blueprint from a data box or download it from a terminal in the Aurora's lab. It takes up four slots in the player's inventory. If a Bleeder latches onto the player's arm, the player can use the Repulsion Cannon to blast it off.
Energy
The Repulsion Cannon is powered by a Battery or Ion Battery. Each shot uses 4 units of its Battery's energy. Therefore, the Repulsion Cannon will have a total of 25 shots if equipped with a fully charged battery, or have 125 shots if equipped with a fully charged Ion battery.

Data Bank Entry
The repulsion cannon is a modification of the base propulsion cannon which enhances its propulsion effect at the cost of the ability to draw objects closer. It can be fabricated using a modification station, and is commonly employed in self-defense, and as a less-than-lethal firearm. |
