One is found in the player's Lifepod, seen flying off its mounting during the intro sequence and used to combat a fire in the Lifepod immediately after the player regains consciousness. It can be crafted using the Fabricator. In addition, multiple Fire Extinguishers can be found in the Aurora and two can be found in the Cyclops.

Uses

The Fire Extinguisher can be used to put out small fires in the Aurora, the Cyclops, and Lifepod 5 during the intro sequence.

It can also be used to push the player in the opposite direction if used underwater.

Depleted Fire Extinguishers cannot be refilled, thus the best thing to do with them is throwing them in a Trash Can.
