As the name implies, it is a miniature representation of a car. The model itself is heavily based on the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Corvette_(C7) <nowiki>Chevrolet Corvette [C7]</nowiki>], mainly the Corvette Z06, a performance version of the C7 Corvette introduced in 2015. Unlike its real-life counterpart, the body proportions of the model were slightly altered to have more of a dragster-like look. The Corvette wing logo can be seen visible on the front bumper of the car. Its resemblance might likely a reference to the name Stingray that is associated on the C7, which was also used on the C2, C3 and C8 generations of the Corvette. The name comes from a sea creature type of a cartilaginous fish, which eventually fits the lore theme to Subnautica. |

Trivia
- The debugspawn for the Toy Car does not give the actual item but a placeholder item, making the Toy Car unobtainable through console commands.
