It is constructed with the Habitat Builder and can only be placed inside a Seabase or inside a Cyclops submarine. The Interior Growbed has a 16 slot Flora capacity arranged in a 4×4 grid. Dismantling a Growbed without removing its contents will result in their loss: they are not refunded to the player along with the construction materials.
