One can be found in Lifepod 5, but it can also be constructed with the Habitat Builder.

Uses

Every 10 minutes, the Medical Kit Fabricator will produce one First Aid Kit, even when its parent habitat is unpowered or flooded. As such, it also doesn't consume energy.

Trivia

• Despite the in-game description stating it takes 30 minutes to fabricate a medkit, it actually takes 10 real life minutes. 1% of progress every 6 seconds. This error in the description is likely an oversight on the Developers' part and likely a leftover from earlier versions of the game.
• When spawned with a console command outside of Seabases it will continue to produce First Aid Kits.
• The Medical Kit Fabricator icon used to feature a white cross over a red background but had to be changed to its current icon due to legal issues. Specifically, use of the red cross symbol as something other than the logo of the International Committee of the Red Cross, particularly for any commercial purpose, is technically a breach of the Geneva Conventions for the Protection of War Victims, established 12 August 1949.
