Solar Panel Icon

The Solar Panel is a placeable item that absorbs lights and converts it into energy.

It is constructed with the Builder and can be placed on any surface, including a Foundation, except for seabase modules. The Solar panel must be placed within a radius of 20 meters from a seabase for them to be able to supply power. One Solar Panel produces 1% power every second with coverage of 89% sun.

The higher up the Solar Panel is placed, the more energy it produces.

Examples of placement at midday:

  • Floater Islands - (Sun: 200%)
  • Depth 0m - (Sun: 97%)
  • Depth 10m - (Sun: 92%)
  • Depth 40m - (Sun: 80%)
  • Depth 50m - (Sun: 78%)
  • Depth 100m - (Sun: 60%)
  • Depth 150m - (Sun: 39%)
  • Depth 200m - (Sun: 20%)
  • Depth 230m - (Sun: 7%)
  • Depth 245m - (Sun: 2%)
  • Depth 250m - (Sun: 0%)
