Alterra Corporation

The Alterra Corporation, or simply Alterra, is a Trans-Gov that funded the Aurora's mission to construct a phasegate in the Adrianne Arm. It also appears to be the manufacturer of many machines and tools in-game, as its logo is present on many of them.

• The name Alterra is taken from the Natural Selection series, also by Unknown Worlds, in which Alterra is a company that supplies various materials.
  • Alterra will also appear in Future Perfect, Unknown Worlds' next planned game after finishing Subnautica.
