Brine Lilies cannot be harvested.
Appearance
Brine Lilies appear similar to both a sunflower and a real life water lily. The top of the plant is cyan and bioluminescent. Surrounding the main body of the plant are small leaf-like protrusions. The base of the plant is dark green in color and has tendrils extending from it it, serving as its roots.
Data Bank Entry
These lily-like plants have evolved to take advantage of the relative density of the acidic brine pools encountered near the ocean floor to float safely on the surface. Tendril-like roots extend down into the brine, drawing essential salts and minerals from the water. |
