The Rebreather is a piece of equipment that is crafted using the Fabricator.
Its intended purpose is to negate the Oxygen consumption penalty that occurs below 200m. As of 07/05/15 it has no affect on Oxygen consumption. The Rebreather also protects the player from the damaging Gasopod secretions.
For the Rebreather to work it must occupy the head slot of the paperdoll UI.
