The status of the Aurora's crew, and the ship's long-distance communications relay, is indeterminate. If any of the ship's data coils remain in tact it may be possible to salvage this information.
― PDA, Dialogue

The Radiation Suit is a piece of Equipment that prevents damage from Radiation. It can be crafted using the Fabricator.
It consists of three parts: the Radiation Suit itself, the Radiation Gloves, and the Radiation Helmet. These three parts are all added to the Inventory when the player crafts the Radiation Suit in the fabricator.
The Radiation Suit parts must be placed in the slots of the Paperdoll UI to take effect. When not worn, the suit and both of its equipment takes up four slots in the inventory each.
Uses
The Radiation Suit is the only way to survive inside the radiation zone after the Aurora's explosion. Therefore, it's very important to get a Radiation Suit as soon as possible.
The player is able to swap out parts of the Radiation Suit for other items, such as the Rebreather. However, for it to eliminate radiation damage completely, the player still needs to have all three parts equipped. Equipping other parts thus results in small amounts of radiation damage in exchange for whatever bonus the other equipment gives.

Trivia
- Markings on the arm indicate that the Radiation Suit has been designed or issued by the Alterra Corporation. Similar markings can be found on some tools in the game Natural Selection 2, which was also developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment.
- The Radiation Suit is the only recipe in the game that gives multiple different items when crafted.
- The Radiation Suit may be needed in the future for handling Uranium and Reactor Rods, as their data bank entries claim such. It may also be needed to enter the Primary Containment Facility as one of the data bank entries suggests that it has a radioactive barrier within.
