It can be planted in the Exterior Growbed and the Alien Containment. This will yield a Pygmy Koosh. It can be eaten raw, supplying the player with 3 Food and 10 Water. In the Bioreactor, it produces 10 energy total over the course of 120 seconds.

Farming

Koosh Samples can be obtained from all sizes of Koosh Bushes using a survival knife.

Small Koosh Bushes will yield seven Koosh Samples and break off on the eighth cut.

Medium Koosh Bushes will yield fourteen Koosh Samples and break off on the fifteenth cut.

Large Koosh Bushes also yield Koosh Samples, but it is untested when they break off, if they break at all.

Due to the abundance of Koosh Bushes in the Koosh Zone, it is very easy to obtain large amounts of this resource.
