Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Peeper is a life form belonging to the fauna category.

The Peeper's attitude is passive. It will not harm the player, but will instead try to flee. While they are catchable, their speed allows them to easily escape a player with no fins. They can, however, be captured easily with the use of a seaglide or stasis rifle. They can also be spotted easily because of their big yellow eyes.

Cooked Peepers have excellent food properties. For this reason, it's a very useful food for players in the survival mode and may be worth the hunt.

Additionally, the Peeper is a great lure for Stalkers. If you are finding you have trouble going into the Kelp Forest, bring some Peepers with you and release them.

Behavior

Peepers can be observed jumping out of the water in the morning and the evening. This strongly resembles the behavior of dolphins.

Peepers can also be seen being chased by Stalkers. Peepers appear to be the Stalker's favorite food.
