It can hold up to 8 slots of the small Life Forms which are categorized as Food. They can be added by clicking on the aquarium to bring up its Inventory menu, and placing the fauna. Animals are added, not their eggs. As opposed to the Alien Containment, Food-Lifeforms will not breed in the Aquarium. Due to its size the only seabase modules that it can be constructed in is the Multipurpose Room and the Observatory.
