Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Spadefish is a life form belonging to the fauna category.
It's at home in the Grassy Plateaus, which it crosses at an average speed. Its attitude is mostly [[::Category:Attitude: Passive|passive]] with a small tendency to flee. Being active day and night, the Spadefish appears to be cathemeral.
The Spadefish is edible and does not give any negative effects on hydration if eaten raw. When cooked, it provides the highest food and H2O gain of any of the other cook-able fish.
Appearance
The Spadefish is small in size and has a flat, rounded, triangular body. It has two small fins at the sides and one long dorsal fin that extends across its tail, which protudes from the back of the triangle. Next to the side fins, two tendrils extend towards the tail, to which they connect about mid-way.
The Spadefish has a broad, yet low mouth lined with small teeth at the front and a large eye at the top. A small black stripe goes up from the tip of its mouth.
Most of its body is blue with a few light blue dots, except for the redish area around the eye, and the fins. The Spadefish's fins and dots are [[::Category:Bioluminescent|bioluminescent]], making it easy to spot at night.
