The Crimson Ray is an in-development life form belonging to the fauna category. It spawns exclusively in the Inactive Lava Zone.
Appearance
In terms of body shape, the Crimson Ray is identical to the Ghostray, however, it has major differences in coloration:
- Its body is non-transparent.
- The top side of the creature is red in color, with a few darker patches, whilst its underside is pale yellow in color.
- Its eyes and gill rows emit a yellow, bioluminescent glow.

Like all ray specimens encountered on 4546B, this one features poisonous flesh and exhibits generally docile behaviour.
