Template:Class 2 Fauna The Boneshark is an aggressive life form belonging to the fauna category.

It is an actively fierce predator and mainly dwells in the Underwater Islands.

Appearance

The Boneshark is a medium-sized, armored creature with a large head featuring spikes extending backwards from many sides of its head, and a long, armoured body.

Its head features a large mouth full of small, razor-sharp teeth and two bioluminescent green eyes.

It has two spiked pectoral fins and flukes at the end of its tail. It is of a dull purple color, with orange patterns on its head and back.

Behavior

The Boneshark is carnivorous, so one can be seen chasing other smaller fish, such as Peepers. It is also hostile, as the creature can be seen attacking the others, including the player. Once the player is spotted, it will follow them until they outswim its charge.

The Boneshark's attack causes moderate damage (30%) to the player, but do no damage to the Seamoth.

It is also attracted to lights, as the Cyclops is able to draw in the creature's attention. Because of this, the creature can also be distracted using flares.

Bonesharks can be seen fiercely guarding their eggs, and will attack the player should they get too close.
