Ghostray

The Ghost Ray is an in-development life form belonging to the fauna category.

Appearance

Its body structure is highly similar to manta rays on Earth, but the body is gelatinous, some variants having a transparent skin revealing organs and veins. The body is bioluminescent and powder blue with two known circular patches on the back, being colored yellow and outlined in orange. The other variant of the species is red and pink, with a pale white underbelly with darker patches.

Future Plans

The Ghost Ray will spawn in the Lost River, presumably around the Ghost Tree. It will also use the AI of the Jellyray. There will be two variants of the Ghost Ray. One reddish, and the other transparent. Whilst the transparent Ghost Ray will be in the Lost River, it is unknown where the red variant will be.

Trivia

• The Ghost Ray may be related to or may be a subspecies of the Jellyray and Rabbit Ray.
• A picture of a Ghost Ray variant can be found on Trello. The body of this Ghost Ray is red and appears to be solid, rather than the transparent Ghost Ray model seen on Sketchfab.
