Energy is used for several items and vehicles and is needed for them to operate. When energy runs out, the player can use a battery or power cell (default R) to refill the energy. As of the most current update, energy is implemented for the SeaGlide, Seamoth, Welder, Stasis Rifle, Transfuser, and flashlight. The Cyclops and seabase modules also have energy requirements. For the Cyclops Power Cells are inserted into the engine to regain energy. The Seabase has the power generator, which also uses Power Cells for energy.
