The Aurora is a habitation ship sent to the planet for a terraforming mission before colony ships arrive. However, during its descent, the Aurora was struck by a mysterious energy pulse resulting in catastrophic hull failure, leading to its crash landing on the surface of the planet. A single escape pod was launched before impact, which contained the unconscious player character. As of now, there is no way into the ship because of the radiation surrounding the waters nearby.
The developers are currently working on explorable wreckage of the ship, that can be seen here.
