Template:Infobox Biome The Grassy Plateaus form a vast biome, featuring a great diversity of life forms, including the currently largest herbivore fauna in Subnautica, the Reefback.

This biome is characterized by large, pillar-like structures seemingly created by erosion from sea currents, smooth marine plains, and sandy terrain almost completely covered with Bloodgrass, giving the Grassy Plateaus its distinctive name.

Here, Limestone and Sandstone can be found hidden within the patches of Bloodgrass.

While exploring Grassy Plateaus, it is advised for new players to stay far away from suspicious sand clouds, as Sand Sharks dwell abundantly in this biome. Also, Tiger Plants, another type of hazard, can be occasionally found in the biome.

Two large Wrecks can be found in the Grassy Plateaus, as well as several small piles of assorted debris.
