Template:Infobox Biome The Grassy Plateaus form a vast biome type, featuring a great diversity of life forms, including the largest herbivore fauna currently in Subnautica, the Reefback.

It is characterized by large, pillar-like structures seemingly being created due to sea current erosion, many flat marine plains, and a sandy terrain, almost completely covered with Bloodgrass, giving the Grassy Plateaus their distinct name.

Here, Limestone and Sandstone can be found hidden within the patches of Bloodgrass.

While exploring Grassy Plateaus, it is advised for new players to stay far away from suspicious sand clouds, as Sand Sharks dwell abundantly in this biome.

Two large Wrecks can be found in the Grassy Plateaus.
