Template:Infobox Biome The Blood Kelp Zone is an abyssal Biome characterized by a variety of giant white Bloodvines, some of which carry Blood Oil pustules down near the stem or on their roots. Being quite deep, the zone also features specific fauna and flora displaying the same white glow.

The first zone is located south-east from Lifepod 5, between the Dunes, the Sparse Reef, the Grand Reef and the Sea Treader's Path. It consists of a single deep trench with natural bridges spanning from one wall to another, and a Cavernous System located below the Bloodvines where their roots can be found. One of the Wrecks can be found within the zone, stuck the trench's walls.

A second Blood Kelp Zone can be found near the Underwater Islands north from the escape pod. It is wider and much shallower, and no Fauna are presently living within it, which will most likely be updated in the future. In the future, it will also contain underwater islands, much like the underwater islands biome, and will be supported by Floaters and Blood Cave Roots.

Both Blood Kelp Zones serve as entrances to the Lost River.
