Template:Infobox Biome The Grand Reef is a unique biome in Subnautica, covering the southwestern portion of the map, located at high depths.

The Grand Reef features few types of fauna, all of whom are edible and none of whom are hostile or defensive. It is also known for its unique types of flora, featuring the luminous Floating Stones along with the peculiar Membrain Trees. Below the biome is the Deep Grand Reef, a cavern displaying the same type of flora and fauna, with the addition of Jellyrays. The reef also has many hydrothermal vents known as "black smokers"[1], located in the southwestern corner of the biome.

The most common harvesting nodes in the Grand Reef are Basalt Outcrops, making it a good source for precious resources.
