Crash Powder is a sulfur-based raw Material that can be found in Crash Plants after the residing Crash has left. It has the chemical formula SO[^4]Tr.
It can be used for crafting the Welder and Flares.
Crash Powder collecting
The best way to collect the Crash Powder is to lure the Crash out of the plant, evade its explosion (using the SeaGlide), and return to its nest for the powder.
An alternative is to use the upgraded Repulsion Cannon and push them against a wall, triggering their explosion.
Additionally, one can use a Stasis Rifle to immobilize it. However, the Crash will still explode even when being frozen by the stasis field, so it is recommended stay out of the blast radius.
Destroying the Crash Plant will prevent the Crash's respawning, along with its powder.
