The Gravsphere is a device which attracts small objects and animal life to itself. It is most useful when trying to catch many fast moving fish, like the Peeper when it feels threatened.
Recipe
Basics
Takes up a 2x2 area in player inventory. It attracts fish and any item dropped by the player. Items not harvested by player such as salt, quatz, and anything contained in limestone will not be attracted to the Gravsphere. It is best to place it on ocean floor. Do not place in open water, mainly because schools of fish will run off with the Gravsphere.
It is suggested to remove the items from the Gravsphere before picking up the sphere. If you are in the open ocean, currents may send your items 30 meters or more away if you pick up the Gravshere with the items still attached to the sphere.
Conclusion
The Gravsphere is a great item to use in early game for fishing. It does take up a 2x2 area in the player inventory and thus takes up valuable space when not fishing in the early part of the game. Later in the game (after constructing a Cyclops), the Stasis Rifle is a much more effective way to go fishing.
