Moon Pool.png

The Moon Pool is a Seabase module. It is constructed with the Habitat Builder and its main function is the docking and undocking of the Seamoth.

A power source is needed to be able to dock the Seamoth. The Seamoth will also be charged from the base's Energy if in Survival Mode or Hardcore Mode.

The Moon Pool also allows the player to access their base via two ladders on either end.

The Seamoth Upgrade Console is a placeable item that can only be constructed in the Moon Pool. It allows the player to customize their docked Seamoth.

To build the Moon Pool it requires a Fragment, and this can be found in Grand Reef.

The moonpool is an essential habitat module for long-term exploration of oceanic environments. Its primary function is as a dry dock for the seamoth submersible (seamoth not included).

The large central chamber contains a pressurized pool which provides ready access to the surrounding waters, and comes as standard with equipment for raising and recharging the seamoth.

It is recommended the builder tool be used outfit the moonpool with a seamoth modification station at your earliest convenience. This will enable the fabrication of seamoth upgrade modules, amongst other things.
