A few console commands have been found to be working[1] in the current experimental build of Subnautica.

List of Commands

  • ITEM "NAME" "COUNT" {Input name of object like "KNIFE", "FINS" or "TANK"} {Input number of items} -- spawns certain objects n times in the players Inventory
  • SPAWN "NAME" "COUNT" {Input name of object like "STALKER" or "BLADDERFISH"} {Input number of items} -- spawns a creature or object n times in front of the player
  • NODAMAGE -- toggles cheat preventing player damage by life-forms and environment
  • OXYGEN -- toggles oxygen cheat
  • NIGHT -- sets time to night
  • DAY -- sets time to day
  • FOG -- toggles fog
  • KILL -- kills the player
  • SPEED {Input number} -- sets the game speed multiplier (default 1)
  • DAYNIGHTSPEED {Input number} -- sets the day/night cycle speed multiplier (default 1, recommended e.g. 10)

How to use

Pressing Enter brings up an input box to enter commands

Press Enter and type one of the commands above.

Examples:

Item metal 5: spawn 5 metal

List of spawnable creatures or items

Most known Materials, Vehicles and Life-Forms are spawnable directly by their name. A notable exception would be Metal .

Items and Materials, like a Knife or Fins , can also be spawned inside the Inventory.
