Tools are crafted from Materials and Resources using the Fabricator.

Tools can either

be carried in the Inventory and be equipped to the Toolbar. Examples are the Knife or Flashlight.
or reside as an object in the world which can be interacted with. An example is the Constructor, a tool for constucting bigger Vehicles.

Equipment can also consume Energy, like the Flashlight or Seaglide.

Some equipment can currently be spawned using Debug Console Commands
