The Sonar is an Seamoth and in-development Upgrade Module that allow the player to navigate underwater. This is a dedicated system for detecting and displaying geographical data on the HUD. This allows the player to navigate easier at night, find their way out of complex cave systems and detect land masses before crashing in to them.
