Subnautica: Below Zero is a game in development by Unknown Worlds Entertainment that acts as an expansion to the story of Subnautica. The full release date is currently planned for October 31, 2019^[1]. Early access was released on January 30, 2019. Below Zero is purchased separately, and as such does not require the original game to play.^[2] The game is available on Steam, Epic Games, and the Discord Store. Sector Zero is the setting of the story, which features a new protagonist rather than Ryley Robinson, and takes place in a different map two years after Ryley Robinson has escaped Planet 4546B.
