Hull Integrity is a feature that currently affects Seabases. When the player is building their seabase they should pay attention to the hull strength, as it drops each time the player adds a module to their seabase. Once the seabase's hull strength, or Hull Integrity reaches 0 the seabase will flood with water, much in the same way as the Cyclops floods.

A seabase starts with a base integrity of 10, however, this does not include the additional +2.0 integrity points the foundation adds. The depth of your seabase influences the hull integrity, and seabase above water does not have hull integrity.

Integrity Values

Each module in a seabase changes the value of the hull strength. Here is a list of current modules and their base changes to seabase hull integrity:

Foundation: +2.0

Corridor: -1.0

L-Corridor: -1.0

T-Corridor: -1.0

X-Corridor: -1.0

Hatch: -1.0

Bulkhead: +2.0

Ladder: N/A

Reinforcement: +7.0 (+14.0 when built on a room. This may be a glitch)

Window: -1.0

I-Corridor Glass: -2.0

L-Corridor Glass: -2.0

Room: -1.25 (Game rounds the displayed number up to -1.3, but it is functionally -1.25)

Observatory: -3.0

Moon Pool: -5.0

Depth Multiplier

As you build deeper underwater, negative influences on hull integrity are multiplied. Positive changes to hull integrity do not vary by depth, so a foundation will always give +2.0 no matter how deep it is built, but a window that is built with a x1.5 depth multiplier will give -1.5 hull integrity when built (instead of -1.0 hull integrity). Anything above 100 meters does affect the depth multiplifer.

< 100 meters: x1.0 (No change to the base values)

600 meters: x1.5

1100 meters: x2.0
