At some point in the story, Robin Goodall may have to use a Bioscanner to take a sample from this leviathan. The leviathan's placeholder model can currently be hit with a knife to acquire a Kharaa Sample.

Age

The Leviathan specimen's species and age is currently unknown, but to be infected with Kharaa the individual creature must have been alive within the last 1000 years.
