Three base variants exist, the first being named Basic Double Bed, the second is called Quilted Double Bed and the third is the Single Bed. The only difference between the Basic Double Bed and the Quilted Double Bed is that the quilted bed has a linen spread over its foot-end. The Single Bed is a smaller, cheaper variant with only one pillow.
Six variants of the Single Bed and one variant of the Double Bed belonging to various Alterra personnel can be found in Sector Zero's abandoned bases. Different from their base variants, these beds have unique bed sheet and pillow patterns.
Beds can be placed in a Multipurpose Room, Observatory, or a Large Room.
Uses
The Beds allow the user to lay down on them. Much like the Bench when sat on, laying on the Beds conserves the Player's Food and H2O levels. The player can go to sleep by clicking the LMB.
When getting out of the Beds, a short animation plays where Robin Ayou will sit up and stretch her arms upwards.
The player can sleep to skip time. The player will have to wait a certain duration of time before being able to go back to sleep again.
Recipe
The blueprint for the Basic Double Bed and Quilted Double Bed are unlocked by scanning a Single Bed. The blueprint for Emmanuel's Bed is obtained by scanning the bed in Emmanuel's Office. They are crafted with the Habitat Builder.

The blueprint for the Single Bed is unlocked by scanning a Single Bed. They can be found in Omega Lab and Outpost Zero. Danielle's Bed can be found at Omega Lab, Fred's and Jeremiah's at Delta Station, Parvan's in his bunker, and Sam's and Zeta's at Phi Robotics Center. They are crafted with the Habitat Builder.
