Template:Class 2 Fauna The Alien Penguin (final name unreleased) is a fauna species that will be featured in the Expansion. It was designed by Alex Ries.

Appearance

Adult

The creature has a feather-covered body, white on the chest and light blue on the back with a yellow band of feathers dividing them. Like many creatures on 4546B it has two pairs of eyes, yellow in color with black pupils. Though unlike other creatures the eyes face different directions; one pair is front-mounted and the other pair is side-mounted.

About one third of the creature's height is made up by the huge beak atop its head. This beak opens horizontally rather than vertically, and rows of long black spines lie within. The beak is mostly black with a band of green and blue around halfway up. At the base of the beak on either side is a small, respiratory orifice.

It has two long flippers on either side of the body and two smaller, rounded flippers at the feet. The body ends with a thin black tail that tapers to a point, with a white band near the tip.

Juvenile

The juvenile form is around half of the adult's height and appears to have almost all white feathers, the only visible exception being an orange and blue stripe around the edge of the flipper.

The beak is much less prominent in the juvenile and instead of the adult's blue and green band, has a boomerang-shaped orange and blue marking near the tip.
