The Heat Blade is a tool and an upgrade to the regular Knife and is crafted by using the workbench.

In general, it can be used as a tool for harvesting or defense. However, its primary function is that it cooks any edible fish in one swipe.

The Heat Blade has a limited durability of about 34 strikes against an object.

Markings on the Heat Blade indicate that it was made by "Alterra Arms Incorporated". Alterra is a corporation also known from the game Natural Selection 2, which was developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment.
