Template:Class 2 Fauna Blue Barnacles are a flora species found exclusively in the Primary Containment Facility Aquarium and Alien Vents rooms. Blue Barnacles come as Blue Barnacle Clusters, and singular Blue Barnacles. They usually drop copper  when broken, but occasionaly will drop ruby and rarely even nickel ore.

Appearance

Blue Barnacles resemble clusters of real life Barnacles, embedded in a calcified, dark gray base. They have a maw with a light turquoise bioluminescent glow. Despite resembling barnacles of Earth, they are a flora species.

Trivia

  • Real life barnacles fall under the Fauna category, however, on the official Flora sheets for Subnautica, they are listed as Flora.
