It can be crafted on the seabed or near Seabases by using the Habitat Builder. Like the Spotlight, the Floodlight is Seabase-powered. It will not provide lighting if the Seabase it is connected to does not have power. When placing with the Habitat Builder, the Floodlight will be shown in three different colors. Red means it can't be built in the current location. Yellow means it can be built, but it won't be powered. Green means it is both buildable and powered in the current location. Each Floodlight consumes three points energy every three seconds, or 60 power per minute. In order to use this item, the player has to acquire its Blueprint by scanning the Floodlights found in some Wrecks or inside the Aurora. Fact: it used to be operational either base powered or battery powered but the battery option was removed for some reason so its only usable or operational near bases. If you want to place a light source without the need of a powered base the Light Stick is a considerable option or replacement.
