Its main body is comprised of two layers, the first layer being a translucent, bulbous sac, and the second layer being a shimmering, [[Bioluminescence|bioluminescent]] organ that is extremely reminiscent of a squid's mantle. There are four lines on the "corners" of the '''Crabsquid's '''body, each one bioluminescent and covered in fine hairs. The '''Crabsquid's '''"face" is made up of a set of four huge, see-through eyes which are dark blue in their center and ringed by a whitish-blue color. The '''Crabsquid '''doesn't seem to have a visible mouth, though it has an odd protrusion directly below its face that is covered in a multitude of short feelers that may say be a feeding apparatus of some kind. Its body is roughly fifteen to twenty feet tall, and half as much as that at its widest point.
