Template:Infobox:Fauna Flora The Crabsnake is an unimplemented life form belonging to the fauna category.

It is very likely than the Crabsnake will inhabit Snake Mushrooms.

Early animations for the Crabsnake can be found here.

Appearance

The Crabsnake is slender, serpentine, and very long, around thirty feet or more judging by the concept art. Its body is covered in what appears to be something similar to crab's exoskeleton, however, it is highly flexible and does not seem to impact its movement in any way. The top of the Crabsnake's body is purple, with horizontal dark purple stripes every few feet along its entire length. The underside of the Crabsnake is mostly a whitish-gray color. There are clusters of small bright purple spots placed randomly over the Crabsnake's top. It is possible that these "spots" may in fact be barnacles, algae, or fungus of some sort. The Crabsnake has two long, translucent fins along the sides of its body, which undulate as the Crabsnake moves.

The face of the Crabsnake is flat, black, and wrinkled. It has a pair of small fangs in the top-middle of its face. The rest of the Crabsnake's face is taken up by a pair of massive claws, which are grey with pitch-black tips. The Crabsnake has no eyes.
