This can be obtained from Giant Coral Tubes. To scan it, you must get a sample from the Tubes and then drop it. This will then enable scanning of this life form.

Appearance

Shell Plates are oval shaped corals and has a Bioluminescent yellowish and yellow branching pattern on its surface.

They have a slightly rough surface with some pits between the branches.
